John Muir is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, based in London. Often working in the socially conscious folk/alt rock tradition, his songs mix propulsive melodies with hopeful lyrics, personal reflections with societal commentaries and a pinch of punk attitude.

Among his influences are artists such as Rodriguez,  The Stone Roses, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, The Pixies, The Smiths, Blur and too many more besides to list.

John plays open mic nights in London and around the south. His debut album, ‘Beset by First World Problems’, co-produced with and featuring Franck Alba, is out now!
